We don’t know what kind of history this guy has and if he’s known to carry guns or weapons. And as drunk as he was I would have my gun out and ready as well! And sometimes being direct and to the point is the only way to get some peoples attention!

As an officer you should do your best to de-escalate the situation not to ask him if he wants to get a shot in his fucking face no matter how much of a piece of shit he is because he’s drunk that’s what you’re trained to do

Police have no idea what they are walking into these days and people refuse to follow instructions and fight back on every little detail. No wonder their tempers are getting short. They just want to do their job and go home to their families!
