This area is a gun-free zone. The individuals involved are convicted felons, some of whom were using fully automatic short-barrel machine guns. Gun control measures are not designed to curb this kind of violence. The only effective approach is to enforce existing laws. However, in cities like Los Angeles, where bail is not required, enforcement has become a joke!
