I was at my friend's wedding. I don't normally include myself in this ritual because it seems demeaning & childish to me. My friend insisted that any lady who wasn't married and that included a couple of widows! That stupid thing was about to hit me in the head! I put my hand up to deflect it, and...I was basically clawed & left with a bleeding hand by a pushy woman whose boyfriend was a relative of the groom & haha....he dumped her about a week after the wedding!
