shouldn't you grab it CLOSE to the head or Right Behind the head to reduce it's striking distance? it can only strike as far as it is recoiled. is that not correct?

I'm a gold miner and I was hiking down the American River to my work site and got bit by a 4 foot western rattler in the thigh luckily I had my three quarter inch thick wet suit on and it didn't go through I grabbed it bye the head and pulled it off and tossed it , I've always been blessed by God . it's amazing how far they can leap off the ground

High school proms have started. There need to be better safety measures put in places This particular story happened in 2018 17 year old Chynna Brandon was driving her father’s Tesla. The teen was speeding. The teens was rushing to get to their prom dinner after taking pictures. Unfortunately C. Brandon lost control of the vehicle and unfortunately a passenger in the car 17 year old Kaylie Jackson suffered life threatening injuries and succumbed to her injuries 3 days later. Mom very emotional.
